Margot Waterhouse - Sydney, Australia

At the tender age of 22, Margot Waterhouse has already achieved what takes most young
starlets decades. Whether it be her nomination for a prestigious Music Oz Award, in which
there were over 2000 entrants, having original music debut at number one on the mp3.com.au
charts or performing at the Sydney Entertainment Centre for an audience of over 5000,
Margot is proving to be a uniquely gifted singer songwriter, which the national airwaves have
warmly appreciated.

Born and raised in Sydney, Margot has been writing songs since the age of twelve. She has
embraced her gift for music and is moving closer to her goal as a nationally accredited singer
songwriter. Margot has worked with some of the nations elite songwriters and producers,
including Adam Reilly, =Sarah Godden and Steve Peach.

In 2005, Margot was nominated at the Music Oz Awards, a national competition for
songwriters, singers and bands, for the prestigious award of 'Pop Artist of the year'. Her
original song 'Turn Around' was chosen as one of the five best pop songs in the competition.
The event was broadcast on WIN television ad adding to the success of her nomination,
Margot was also a presenter at the awards.

Also in 2005, Margot performed the national Anthem at the Sydney Entertainment Centre
before the start of the National kick boxing title fight. The event was broadcast to
thousands of viewers on Fox Sports.

In 2006, Margot had more success, when her original music hit number one on the
mp3.com.au charts and stayed there for 14 consecutive weeks.

Margot's versatile talent has allowed her to move into other avenues of media, with a recent
four page spread in FHM magazine. Margot won the lead role in the hugely popular AAPT
phone company commercial, where she plays the character 'gold digger'. Margot also won the
title of 2004 NSW Swimwear model of the year.
