Alicia Keys Apologizes to Fans for Tobacco Ads
The BBC reports that multiplatinum-selling Grammy winner Alicia Keys has apologized to fans in Indonesia after finding out that an upcoming concert was sponsored by tobacco company Philip Morris. Anti-smoking organization Tobacco Free Kids criticized Alicia Keys when billboards promoting her concert were having a logo for the A Mild cigarette brand.
The R&B singer apologized to fans in Indonesia and said that the tobacco company had subsequently withdrawn their sponsorship.

Multiplatinum-selling Grammy winner Alicia Keys will team up with White Stripes rocker Jack White to perform “Another Way To Die,” the theme for the 22nd James Bond movie, the Quantum of Solace, which hits theatres in November. According to a report from Billboard Magazine, Jack White wrote and produced the song and “Another Way To Die” will be the first theme to feature a duet in James Bond history. The multiplatinum-selling Grammy winner Alicia Keys was among the international stars to perform for Singfest Music Festival. The two-day outdoor festival was organized by Midas Promotions, over the weekend at Fort Canning Green and drew a staggering 17,000 people, compared to 9,000 at its inaugural show.
American R&B queen Alicia Keys was among other stars line-up for the music festival including: pop singer Jason Mraz and rock band OneRepublic, as well as Scottish pop-rockers Travis, Welsh rockers Lostprophets and Canadian pop-punkers Simple Plan and the raunchy Pussycat Dolls, who used pre-recorded music.

Pune is likely to see a host of Bollywood celebrities make their presence felt for the Abhijit Kadam Memorial Football Cup to be held in the city from today (Feb 27).
Baadshah of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan, who is passionate about sports (be it hockey or cricket or even football) would be inaugurating the tournament. SRK himself is an avid football player who even captained his school and college team.
Besides this, a host of Bollywood stars like Salman Khan, Sohail Khan, Govinda, Dino Morea, Sunil Shetty, Zayed Khan, Kunal Kemmu, Shreyas Talpade and Ranbir Kapoor would be seen kicking ball in a charity match against Pune's team (comprising some well known personalities from Pune) on March 4th .The proceeds of this match (co-organized by the Salman Khan foundation) will go towards AIDS and cancer affected children.
There is more glitter and glamour as actors Nana Patekar and John Abraham are expected to grace the prize distribution ceremony on the concluding day of the tournament on March 8th.
The Abhijit Kadam Memorial Football Cup was started in the year 2003 in memory of late Abhijit Kadam who died in a car accident few years ago. Abhijit (son of Minister Dr.Patangrao Kadam) was an avid football player himself and this is a tribute organized by his father and brother Vishwajeet to groom upcoming football players in Maharashtra.
Well, with the kind of stars expected to attend, the public of Pune are surely going to turn up in large numbers for the love of the game and to have a dekko at their favorite celebs.
