Girls’ Generation debuted a year after Big Bang in August 2007. Their awards include a few such as Best New Female Group, Anycall Popularity & Newbie Awards, and “(Cyworld) Song of the Month”. The girls have only released one single “Into the new world” (for some reason the title reminds of a “A Whole New World”…) which sold 31,369 copies and their debut album, “Girls’ Generation” sold 111,093 copies. Despite only releasing one single, these girls were promoted heavily and did activities in other areas such as MCing and acting
